Chocolate Protein Overnight Oats

Chocolate Protein Overnight Oats

WHAT ARE OVERNIGHT OATS?

Overnight oats are a no-cook method of making oatmeal. Instead of cooking on the stovetop we soak the oats which allows them to absorb the liquid and soften enough to eat uncooked. You only need to let the oats soak and rest in the fridge for 2 hours. But, it’s ideal if you soak it overnight…hence the name overnight oats!

This to me is the easiest, most filling, energy promoting, protein filled breakfast in the world and after having eaten my fair share I think can honestly say, you don’t get sick of them.

And just remember, this is just one version so if you do need to change things up simply swap out the flavors and make it your own. Having said that, these are my favourite.

Ingredients

1 Cup almond milk

1/2 Cup Rolled Oats

1/2 Cup Blueberries

1 Tbsp Maple Syrup

1 Tbsp Peanut Butter

1 Scoop Protein Powder (30g protein)

41g protein, 65g carbs, 13g fat

Recipe

  1. Combine all ingredients minus the Peanut Butter and Protein Powder into an airtight container and leave in the fridge overnight.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and enjoy.

*Note. A cup of coffee is this meal’s best bud!
